Table Service Restaurants that Don’t Rank High at Disney World

The Walt Disney World Resort has  an amazing selection of table service/sit down restaurants. When you have that many great restaurants, there will be a few that don’t rank as high.

Here is a summary of the most commented restaurants that our readers think you can skip and why:

Chef Mickey ~ Contemporary Resort: It’s more nostalgic than amazing. It was one of the first character meals but their are so many more to choose from that are less noisy and have a better selection of food. The fact that it’s convenient to the Magic Kingdom and the monorail also adds to it’s popularity.Mama Melroses's sign

Tony’s Town Square Restaurant ~ Magic Kingdom: It’s an ok Italian eatery. Typical spaghetti and meatball menu. Many people said that it wasn’t allergy friendly. If you want to see a parade without waiting on the curb, you can dine on the patio at Tony’s and see the parade.

The Plaza ~ Magic Kingdom: There isn’t anything special about it than you can usually get a table when no other reservations are available. “More of a counter service meal but had to sacrifice a table service.” ~ MendiandNick Stone

Mama Melrose ~ Disney’s Hollywood Studios: It compares to the Olive Garden. Ok Italian food. The best part of the restaurant are it’s Fantastimic packages.

Coral Reef ~ EPCOT: It’s a Red Lobster with a great view.

Yak & Yeti ~ Disney’s Animal Kingdom : The food was bland. It wasn’t worth a table service credit for something that you can get as take out at home.
