Disney's Magical Express, Magical Express overview, Magical Express Instructions

By Frances.

What is Disney’s Magical Express? It is a complimentary service for Walt Disney World Resort guests only. It is round-trip airport transportation and luggage delivery for WDW resort guests that picks you up from Orlando International Airport (MCO) and will deliver you to your Walt Disney World Resort. Let’s take a look at how this service can make your next Disney vacation a little more magical!

How does Magical Express Work at the Walt Disney World Resort?

After you have made your Walt Disney World Resort reservation and your airline reservation, you will give your flight information to your travel agent, or if you booked directly with Disney, you would contact them.

You will receive your Magical Express envelope approximately three weeks prior to leaving for your trip. It will include your Magical Express booklet and your luggage tags. Prior to leaving your home, you will attach the yellow luggage tags to your luggage. Make sure you place your Magical Express Booklet in your carry on. You will need it to board the Magical Express at MCO. Once you have checked your luggage at your home airport, it will be the last time you see it until it magically appears in your room.

If you forget to make arrangements or if you don’t receive your Magical Express packet, you can check in with Disney at the airport. You will then need to retrieve your own luggage at the airport and take it with you on the bus. You must be registered guests at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel to use this service.

Upon landing at Orlando International Airport, skip baggage claim and proceed to the Disney’s Magical Express Welcome Center in the Main Terminal Building, B side, Level One.

Please note that your plane will arrive on Level Three and you will need to travel all the way to the bottom to Level One.

Disney’s Magical Express service will collect your luggage and deliver it directly to your WDW resort room within three hours after you check in at the resort. Luggage delivery service provided by Disney’s Magical Express is available for flights arriving between 5:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. daily. For airport arrivals after 10:00 p.m., Guests may collect their luggage at Baggage Claim and transport it with them on the motor coach.

Your vacation can officially begin once you take your seat on the air-conditioned motor coach.

As your vacation draws to a close, you’ll receive a Transportation Notice advising you of the pick-up time and place for your motor coach ride back to Orlando International Airport. Please note that it is your responsibility to bring your luggage to the pick-up point located at your Walt Disney World Resort. Your luggage will be weighed and the Magical Express operators will collect any luggage fees.

The motor coach will pick you up approximately three hours prior to your flight departure time. You will need the Magical Express information that will be left on your door in order to board the motor coach.

Please be sure to tip your motor coach driver. A nice tip would be $2-$3 per item stowed under the bus.

So there’s an overview to Disney’s Magical Express, your ride to and from the airport, Disney style. Now that you know how it works, all you need to do is start making your vacation reservations, and you’ll be on your way.

Thanks for stopping by for a photographical Disney vacation, and have a magical day!
