A Big Ten List of Disney’s Best Websites

Disney fireworks, Magic Kingdom fireworks, Main Street, U.S.A.,

There are 50 million people pouring into Orlando every year, making it easily one of the world’s most popular vacation destinations. People spend a ton of money at Walt Disney World, as well as the other theme parks, restaurants, resorts and entertainment veneues in Orlando. It should come as no surprise that there are countless websites, all devoted to Mickey Mouse and his pals. People love to read about Disney.

Here are some Mouze Kateerz favorite websites.

1. How can you not love www.mouzekateerz.com?! What started as a personal little photo hobby has turned into a “community blog” with 20 writers, tallented photographers,  travel agents, and huge Disney fanatics. We just love Disney. We look for info. on cool Disney merchandise, yummy snacks, fun events, and great resorts.

2. I reference www.disneyworld.com regularly. They have rooming information in an easy to follow fashion, restaurant menus, resort hotel rates, theme park info., plus show times and calendars, etc. You name it, it’s all there, at least enough information so you know what you are getting yourself into.  You can order a planning video to be mailed to your house or view it on-line there.

3. The Disney Moms are a new website made up of over 15 moms and a dad that love Disney and regularly write about topics dealing with, you guessed it,  kids and Disney. I write for them several times a month, because I have found that Disney Moms are big readers, and they love researching Disney trips. http://thedisneymoms.com/

4. Fan of finding Hidden Mickeys? Drop by www.hiddenmickeys.org.

5. When I can’t find the info. I need at Disney.com, search engines usually turn up  Deb’s Unofficial Walt Disney World Information Guide at www.allearsnet.com. What you can find on Disney.com is sometimes covered in more depth, with really good photos, here and they have online menus for most Disney restaurants.

6. Looking for cheap park tickets? Lots of people rave about Mouse Savers. www.mousesavers.com. They have Disney tips, plus discounts on area hotels, resorts and packages.

7. www.mouseearsandmore.com offers travel tips, reviews, Disney info, plus reviews of Orlando’s best resorts and restaurants for kids.

8. I started my “Disney Writing Career” with a website called Chip & Co. I had followed them on Facebook for a long time, because they provided news throughout the day. Disney info. plus any far-reaching area touched by the Mouse, like Star Wars, Marvel Comics, Disney publishing, and more. You can find my photography there many mornings and afternoons each week. http://www.chipandco.com/

9. I just became a weekly contributor to Couponing to Disney. If you are looking to save money, what better way than through clipping coupons and applying that savings toward a Disney vacation. Look for me as a columnist on Friday nights.  And keep a look out for those bargains so you can take that Disney vacation sooner than later.

10. So ten will give you links to the writers for Mouze Kateerz, who all work hard each week telling you why they love Disney.

And there’s the Mouze Kateerz Top Ten List of Disney websites. We hope you find them useful as you plan, save for, or research your Disney vacation.

  1. Lots of great resources here! Can I contribute another one? http://www.disneyinaweek.blogspot.com This one is also great Disney photographs, but usually on a daily basis or whenever there’s something special going on. It tells those who are going to visit soon just what it’s like weatherwise and visitor analysis too. Some times are just a little too crowded for some people and this website will tell you. Check it out.
